Purify Filtration was founded in 2023 as a collaborative effort between four partners with a shared vision: to revolutionize the filtration industry by providing innovative solutions and exceptional service. The company was established in the Dominican Republic, with a commitment to creating local jobs and adding significant value to the filtration market.

The foundation of Purify began with Falk Weltzien, a key player in the filtration industry since 2014. Falk successfully built warehouses in Germany and Brazil, specializing in the distribution of filter rolls and accessories to major bag manufacturers across Europe and South America. His facilities are known for their fast lead times, providing emergency fabric distribution for clients needing bags on short notice. This experience laid the groundwork for what would become Purify Filtration.

Recognizing the growing demand for quality filtration products, Falk joined forces with three other visionary partners. Jose Sanchez, an established figure in the Dominican Republic, was already making waves in manufacturing with his FDA-approved biodegradable wrap paper business. Tamayo Belliard, another Dominican-based entrepreneur, brought expertise in solar panel servicing and installation, helping reduce electricity costs for local communities.

Falk’s son, Kai Weltzien, entered the partnership as the youngest member. Kai’s energy and forward-thinking approach focus on reducing costs for end users while ensuring customer satisfaction through fast lead times and top-tier service in the North American market.

To bolster production, the team brought in JR De La Costa Liranzo as the Head of Production. JR is a young, driven individual with strong engineering skills. He was sent to Brazil to master the intricacies of filter bag production, quality assurance, and demand control. Under his leadership, Purify Filtration became the first filter bag manufacturer in the Caribbean, setting a new standard for the region.

Together, these multi-lingual, globally experienced partners decided to establish a manufacturing plant in the Dominican Republic’s free trade zone. By combining their strengths, they not only supply top-tier filtration products but also provide valuable jobs for the Dominican people, contributing to the local economy.
